Privacy Policy

Effective date: [August 15, 2026] Last updated: [August 15, 2026]

Armenians for Vance (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website armeniansforvance.org (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have regarding your information. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you join the movement, contact us, or sign up for updates, we collect the information you enter, which may include your first and last name, email address, ZIP code, phone number, and the content of any message you send us.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our servers and service providers automatically collect standard technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, pages visited, time and date of visits, and referring URLs. Some of this is collected through cookies — see our Cookie Policy for details.

Information from third parties. If you interact with embedded content (for example, YouTube videos), those platforms may collect information about you under their own privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for their practices.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • organize and grow our grassroots coalition, including voter outreach in your state;
  • send you updates, newsletters, event invitations, and calls to action you signed up for;
  • respond to your messages and requests;
  • analyze Site usage and improve our content and outreach;
  • comply with legal obligations and protect the security and integrity of the Site.

3. Text Messages (SMS)

If you provide your phone number and opt in to text messages, you expressly consent to receive recurring political and organizational text messages from Armenians for Vance at the number provided, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or donation. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP. We honor opt-outs promptly, as required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

4. Email Communications

We send email only to people who have subscribed or otherwise provided their address to us. Every email includes a working unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time, and we process unsubscribe requests promptly in accordance with the CAN-SPAM Act.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited cases:

  • Service providers. Vendors that host the Site, deliver emails and texts, process form submissions, or provide analytics — only as needed to perform their services and under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or the rights and safety of others.
  • Organizational transfers. If the coalition is reorganized or its assets are transferred, supporter information may be transferred as part of that process, subject to this Policy.

6. Donations

The Site does not process payments directly. If donation functionality is enabled, contributions will be processed by a third-party payment processor under its own privacy policy and security standards (including PCI DSS). We do not store your full payment card details. Please note: contributions to political organizations are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.

7. Data Retention

We keep supporter information for as long as needed to run the coalition, maintain our records, and comply with legal obligations. If you unsubscribe or request deletion, we remove or de-identify your information, except where retention is legally required.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Privacy Rights

10. Children’s Privacy
